12V AC REGULATOR AFTERMARKET 3 CONNECTORS

12V AC Regulator Aftermarket. This is just a simple AC shunt regulator for a NO battery 12 volt system. 3 wires only.  Found on European Vespa PX that do not have electric start, many far-east restoration and used with non-battery Vespa conversions with single output AC stator and WIREKIT-1 simplified wiring. 

If your vintage scooter is blowing 12 volt headlight bulbs, you can wire the G terminals in parallel to clip the voltage to minimize over voltage to your headlight bulb.  We also offer a smaller version of this 12 volt AC shunt regulator, see part #REG12VAC

Functions of the terminals on this voltage regulator are:

• Both G terminals are the AC shunt regulation for all lighting and will the single lighting output of the stator, often times a blue wire.
• Ground terminal that ties to a Black wire and will have continuity to the frame and engine case of the scooter.
