All shipping companies are reporting longer than usual delivery delays on all services. We are doing what we can to get your order out FAST, most orders ship from San Diego the same day (except weekends), but the carriers delays are out of our control. Delivery times are NOT our responsibility, please contact the carrier for delays.
None of our shipping companies (UPS, USPS, FedEx) are guaranteeing any delivery dates at this time, this includes NEXT DAY, 2-DAY, ETC. Tracking info is also unreliable, all these shipping companies are no longer updating their tacking info. All we can say is you will receive your order in due course, PLEASE BE PATIENT.

Delivery: Orders are generally filled within 24 hours of receipt. Most orders received by 3PM PST are shipped on the same business day. Please keep in mind that an order placed after 3PM Friday, or on Saturday and Sunday will not ship until Monday. Scooterwest does not offer any delivery guarantee time frames. All parts are shipped from 3955 Pacific Hwy., San Diego, California, 92110, USA unless otherwise specified. A minimum shipping charge will be added to all orders. Most domestic and foreign orders will be charged actual shipping costs. Unless specified, all domestic orders will be shipped by USPS, UPS, or FedEx via regular ground service. We reserve the right to select the best possible means of delivery based on your location, weight (or dimensional weight), day of the week, overall delivery time, or etc.. This means we may choose to ship your order USPS or FedEx, over UPS if we feel you will get it to you faster regardless of which shipping method you selected. UPS or FedEx Next Day, 2nd Day, and 3rd Day services are available at an extra charge but must be requested when your order is placed. Packages that are delayed will NOT receive a full or partial refund on shipping charges, shipping it paid to the respected carrier and is NOT guaranteed for any reason. There is NO insurance on any shipment unless otherwise discussed and added to your shipping charges. The shipping charges on our website site are WITHOUT INSURANCE. Returned to sender due to incomplete or incorrect address are subject to additional postage to re-send the package at the receiver’s expense.

For international orders: Scooterwest is not responsible for any extra charges, duties, or taxes your respective Country may charge YOU upon arrival. We only collect the cost of shipping. We do not mark items below actual price or as gifts on customs documents. If an international shipment is refused by the receiver the cost of the items will be refunded ONLY when the order is return to our shop (excluding any shipping fees AND a 10% restocking fee). International Shipments may take longer to arrive than expected. This is due to extended customs processing times in certain countries. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to expedite this process.

Combining Orders: We receive 2-3 calls a day with additions or subtractions to an existing order. We do our best to accommodate these requests, but we cannot be responsible for these order changes getting executed or extra shipping charges that may apply. We get orders pulled and packed very fast each day, so order corrections cannot be accepted after 2pm. Changes made to an order after 2pm will require a NEW order with corresponding shipping charges.

Claims: Title to merchandise passes to the customer upon delivery to the common carrier. All merchandise is packed so that it will arrive in good condition. Delivery of the merchandise in good condition is the responsibility of the carrier. All claims for damaged or missing parts must be filed with the carrier immediately. YOU MUST KEEP THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING BOX AND SHIPPING LABEL TO MAKE A CLAIM. CLAIMS WITHOUT ORIGINAL PACKAGING WILL BE DENIED BY THE CARRIER. Shortages and discrepancies must be reported within two days of receipt of goods. An emailed copy of the checked off invoice included in your order may be required in the event of any shortages.

Missing/Stolen Parcels: In present day age of UPS, FedEx, and USPS the courier may leave parcels at your address's doorstep (they may even take a photo showing proof of delivery). It is actually YOUR responsibility to tell the Post Office, FedEx, or UPS or any other Service being used you do not want parcels left on your doorstep (this is NOT our responsibility, all couriers leave parcels). Signature Required is available at an added expense, but is not included in our shipping charge (you will have to call us to add this option). By the shipper delivering the parcel we have satisfied our obligations. In the situation of a theft from your doorstep (this is what it is if parcel has been confirmed as delivered and you are stating it’s now missing) you will need to file a Police Report and provide that to us, we will provide this when possible to the shipping service used and advise them to deal with you directly. They will most likely NOT cover the missing package.

Shipping Deals: We no longer offer any shipping discounts. We’ve held out as long as we can, but shipping cost and fuel surcharges keep skyrocketing, so we just can’t absorb it any longer. Please understand we still do our best to ship orders as fast as we can and offer the best prices for quality scooter parts. We do not "drop ship" items from other supplies, all items are stocked in our warehoused here in San Diego.
