VAPE has manufactured these high-end ignition systems for your beloved Vespas. The materials, production and construction of the ignition systems are of the highest quality.

These are made of state of the art modern technology electrical systems. Due to the eight coils included on the stator-plate this kit creates enough electricity at kick-start to illuminate the Vespas lighting. 

The pick-up on the stator-plate is split into two and arranged on top of another instead of next to each other as with the original design. This eliminates the possibility of false positioning during the initial set up due to the sloppy manufacturing tolerances included on many Vespa engine casings, crankshafts, stator-plates, and flywheels. The exact ignition point is clearly marked with a precise line on both the flywheel and stator-plate, which allows ignition adjustment without stroboscopic lamp. All you need to do is find out the top dead center (TDC).

Besides the stator plate the other major advancement is the production of the fan/flywheel unit is a single component, avoiding screws or riveted inner mounting-cone and an uneven rotation. This greatly reduces engine vibration while also noticeably extending the working life of the flywheel side crankshaft bearing and crankshaft. The flywheel is CNC machined from solid aluminum and delivers an identical volume of cooling air to the cylinder as the PX style fan from PIAGGIO does throughout the whole rev-range. The amount delivered by most aftermarket ignition systems is easily surpassed by the Vape design, without preventing higher motor speeds.

NOTE: These come with NO product support for install. You will have to figure out how to wire this on your own or seek a professional mechanic. Even though this will fit most Vespa 125 and 150 large frame from 1959 to 1976 there are still a lot of wiring differences you will have to figure out.

This is an AC system and will NOT support charging a battery. Installing these on an older 6 volt model will require you to switch out all the bulbs with 12 volt bulbs (sold separately).
