Third Gear Vespa VBC/VNC Super

Third gear for a 1966 and newer Vespa VNC Super 125 and VBC Super 150. 48 Outer Teeth.

When do you want replace your gears? When the inner teeth that connect with the shifting cross are no longer squared off. A rounded shifting cross (cruciform) will cause the teeth on the inside of the gears to eventually round off. You want nice square teeth on the shifting cross and the inner teeth of the gears. Otherwise you will pop out of gear.

To help avoid confusion, first gear is the largest of the 4 gears and fourth gear is the smallest.

These only fit VNC and VBC models with serial numbers after *011000* which is 99% of the Super 125 and Super 150 models out there.
