Replacement Steering Head Bearings for loose bearing vintage Vespa models: Use this kit to upgrade to a more efficient bearing kit you can now replace your old loose bearings with this Vespa PX style caged bearings kit produced for the VNA-VBB size to suit all earlier produced Vespa models from the 1960's. The bearing races, attached to the frame and steering column, have been designed to fit older model Vespas.

Note: The upper and lower races need to be pressed in the frame and fork, this may require some special tools. The PIAGGIO workshop manual recommends torqueing these bearings are as follows: Tighten the upper steering head bearing to 60-70Nm and then loosen the nut by about a quarter turn. The locking nut can then be tightened to 50-60Nm to finish the job.
