There are two flywheel side seals for the crankshaft on the GS160 and SS180, one inboard of the bearing and one outboard of the flyside bearing. This seal is the inner one closest to the crankshaft

TECH TIP – We put a very thin layer of grease on the outer and inner lips of the seals to help install them safely and to help make a good seal. Remember to remove any woodruff keys prior to installation.
