Take your scooter and put it into overdrive! With a gear kit, your scooter's gearing will be taller, which means you can attain higher speeds through fewer RPMs. Translation: go faster and put less strain on your motor.

For a scooter that already has other performance upgrades, a service like this is totally applicable. In fact, for any bike creating more power than would be stock from the factory, it really requires a gear kit to maximize the use of this upgraded power.

This is definitely not something that can be done at home: all gear kits for new scooter require the new gear to be press fitted onto the intermediate shaft of the final drive gear set. This can only be accomplished with a 20 ton press, and with the custom drive tools we have in our shop. Beyond that, we can even install your gear kit on your motor (just ship us your motor and we'll work it out).
