NOTE: Will NOT clear the service wrench on the newer Vespa or Piaggio scooters.

Diagnostic Scan Tool with exclusive 3-pin & Euro 5 cables. Complete package works with older fuel-injected Vespa’s that utilize the 3-pin proprietary diagnostics port (black connector) found on 2006-2023 Vespa’s and the new standardized EURO 5 GTS HPE 2020-Current and BV400 2022-current (red 6-pin connector).  The tool will also function as a standard OBD reader for your 1996 or later car.

This is capable of functions when hooked up to the motorcycle diagnostic Scan Tool:
-Verify operation of fuel injection, ignition, engine temperature, O2 Sensor, and more.
-Fuel injection system parameters can be monitored and graphed.
-Stored and active errors can be read and erased.  (Turn check engine light off)
-Battery Voltage can be monitored
-Check OBD2 Readiness Monitors
-Activation of fuel pump, ignition, actuators on some models
-Advanced data logging and ability to update with the included USB cable.

Read error codes to aid in diagnostics and check out many other electronically controlled systems on your modern Vespa via this handheld device. All cables and device are included, including USB cable for firmware updates for the handheld device (instructions are NOT included, but it is straightforward and we have a basic DIY video on YouTube).

This diagnostic tool will retrieve codes associated with the engine ECU only.  This tool will return OBD standard “P” codes with a limited description.  To properly diagnose issues, you will have to investigate the causes related to the specific codes. Vespa & Piaggio use several different manufacturers of ABS systems, this tool has limited functionality to read error codes and verify wheel speed on some Vespa ABS systems. It will NOT program a new ABS unit.

Will NOT work on carbureted scooters, or other modules found on modern Vespa’s such as keyless, ABS, dashboard, and tilt controls on the Piaggio MP3, nor will it clear the service wrench on the new 2024-2025 GTS/GTV (these functions can only be done with the PADS device, at authorized Vespa dealer).
