| Description | Deluxe Heated Grips Made by KOSO AM111030 (WPS 27-5869) Unlike other brands and styles that require a separate controller box or custom wiring. The Koso deluxe grips include controller built into the included wiring harness. Ideal for installation on a scooter where space is limited in the handlebars covers. These install with any scooter with a 12V battery and heat up on demand. Includes Koso’s exclusive integrated thumb controller, it allows you to control the heat level of the grips with a simple press of the thumb without ever removing your hands from the handlebars. Includes one pair of 130mm long grips for 7/8" handlebars, general instructions, and everything else required for easy installation. See HOTGRIPS3, for a newer slender 120mm length version. Features: -Low battery emergency cut off protection -Internal Memory that allows grips to power on at previous heat level -5-tempurature levels to choose from, indicated by a multi-color LED. -Include grip end caps when bar end weights are not use. Does NOT include detailed installation instructions for Vespas or any other specific brand of scooter. Will work on ALL modern automatic scooters with 12v DC battery system. Will not work on Vintage Vespas. (THESE DO REQUIRE SOME WORK TO INSTALL AND SOME ELECTRICAL KNOW-HOW). Recommend a high quality 2-part epoxy for fixing the left grip to the handlebars. For easy, soldering free installation, recommend ordering 2x EC1T Posi-tap wiring splices. |
