True, these are made in China. We did our homework and placed an order with the most reputable U.S. distributor we could find that imports and sells billions of bearings a year in the United States. Everything else in the U.S.A is made in China, so why not offer a simple ball bearing for your scooter as well? If we wouldn't put them in our own personal scooters, we wouldn't be selling them to you. 

There was a time in the 1980s when the manufacturing quality of Chinese bearings was greatly inferior to those made in the U.S.A, Japan, and Europe. Just like in other ares of Chinese manufacturing, the gap has been closed considerably.
