With the Universal Surf Rack by Carver, you can carry your board right up to your favorite surf spot. Park your scooter, unhook your board and in minutes you'll be riding the most bodacious waves around, while other surfers are still looking for a parking spot. Easy-to-install, this surfboard carrier will fit most scooters with a rear rack and it will hold most surfboards, small to large. You'll never have to look for parking again and maximize your time in the water and your wavecount as a result.
Carver refers to this as the "Moped" mount. The Moped mount has a universal mounting plate made of 1/4" plate aluminum that will easily fit any rear rack on any make and model of scooter. The Aluminum mounting plate has two round female receiving tubes attached. The infinitely adjustable and removable arms telescope into these receiving tubes. You can simply remove the arms if you're not gonna install your "stick." Everything is made of aluminum so this will never rust!!!
Please Note: This surf rack is not recommended for surfboards over 8-feet in length. Also, extreme caution must be exercised when driving at speeds in excess of 20mph. Only use in safe driving conditions and never in high winds. Finally, please make sure you can place both feet on the ground when the surfboard is installed.
