With the Universal Surf Rack by MBB Moved By Bikes, you can carry your board right up to your favorite surf spot without parking hassles on your Scooter.   Park your scooter, unhook your board and in minutes you'll be riding the most bodacious waves around, while other surfers are still looking for a parking spot. Easy-to-install, this surfboard carrier will fit most scooters with a rear rack and it will hold most surfboards, small to large. You'll never have to look for parking again and maximize your time in the water and your wavecount as a result.

This MBB Racks is adapted our same quick release bars found on their bicycle racks with some unique, heavy duty aluminum and stainless steel mounting hardware specially adapted to work with tubular cargo racks common to moped and scooters. 

The racks feature our patent pending quick release bars, so you can pop the bars in when you need them, and pop them out with the push of a button when you don't. The bars mount to tubular cargo racks and grab rails common on most scooters, and because the rack bars are mounted separately they can spread out to carry long boards and SUPs on many Scooters and larger electric bicycles. All aluminum and stainless construction for coastal environments, fits a wide array of mopeds and scooters and just about any surfboard. We recommend the racks for boards 7-8 feet in length when bars are mounted together, or longer boards when bars are mounted apart. Racks have been evaluated on typical mounting configurations at speeds up to 30 mph.

Included with the MBB Surf Rack Kit is Hardware to clamp on bars ranging from a ¼” to a 1 Inch thick, pair of detachable drops and pair of hoops along with hardware and detailed instructions.  A 5mm allen hex wrench and bungy cords are not included.  At minimum your scooter will need a rear rack for a short board setup, if your looking to setup for a long board, we recommend a front rack and rear grab rail to mount surfrack.  Requires some ingenuity, but I’m sure after you watch Robot’s installation YouTube videos on various installation, you will be able to setup the prefect combo for your board and scooter!

Please Note: Also, extreme caution must be exercised when driving at speeds in excess of 20mph. Only use in safe driving conditions and never in high winds. Finally, please make sure you can place both feet on the ground when the surfboard is installed.
