BALL BEARING FOR CUSH GEAR ASSEMBLY- (Superseded part numbers 112793,235934,485912) (6302)
-High Load Rating Ball Bearings
True, these are made in China. We did our homework and placed an order with the most reputable U.S. distributor we could find that imports and sells billions of bearings a year in the United States. Everything else in the U.S.A is made in China, so why not offer a simple ball bearing for your scooter as well? If we wouldn't put them in our own personal scooters, we wouldn't be selling them to you.
There was a time in the 1980s when the manufacturing quality of Chinese bearings was greatly inferior to those made in the U.S.A, Japan, and Europe. Just like in other ares of Chinese manufacturing, the gap has been closed considerably. Remember back to the 1987 Hyundai Excel (Jointly made in South Korea and China) and how they've progressed to be the reputable brand and world-class manufacturer they are today. Scooterwests's good friend Vu Tran says his 2011 Hyundai Tucson is smoother and more enjoyable to drive than his 2008 BMW 535!
We're not attempting to undermine the quality of a German-made FAG or Swiss-Made SKF bearing, only trying to offer a more than adequate alternative at a fraction of the price. The world is spinning, driving, and stopping on Chinese made bearings of all kinds. Save yourself some money and give them a try.
