Two-stroke cylinder kits need to have their ports chamfered before installation and chamfering is a process where the edges of the cylinder ports are smoothed so piston rings don't catch as they pass over.

We have videos demonstrating this process on our website (see "Videos" above): it's not too tricky if you know what you're doing, but you'll need to have a steady hand, if you know what I mean!

If you've had too much coffee or you're simply not sure you want to take a grinder to the inside of your beautiful new cylinder kit, place your trust in us. With our steady hands we've successfully chamfered thousands of ports over the years, so we'll get your kit ready for install and those ports will look sweetly ground.

WARNING: NOT CHAMFERING CYLINDER KITS CAN CAUSE RINGS TO BREAK AND THE KIT TO SEIZE.
