What you are looking at is the SX appeal HID light-kit, with Hi/Lo settings. HID stands for "High Intensity Discharge." In other words, this headlight is like ARC-welding inside your bulb: you can't look at the beam without going blind.
In fact, these bulbs are really that bright. Surprisingly they draw only 35 watts of power, but they produce 3 times more light than your stock halogen bulb. 6000K has an approximate output of 2800lm and emits a pure white light with a very slight tint of blue and purple, which gives it that cool HID look just like on BMW's and other sport cars. As an added bonus HID also runs cooler than your traditional halogen bulb and lasts considerably longer too.
These HID kits are made to fit right on a Vespa GT-GTS-Super (will NOT fit on GTV), but can also fit most any scooter (LX 150) with a DC H4 headlight (which means your headlight must run off the battery; NOT AC, so if your headlight is on with key on and the engine not running, it is a DC system). The kit includes all you see here and instructions to install it on the Vespa GT, GTS or Super, which for these bikes is really an easy, plug-and-play action. For other brands, you will have to figure it out for yourself.
These kits usually retail for as much as $250, but we had a big batch made up to our specs to save you money. These are of the highest quality available, but like most electrical items are not returnable after they have been installed (or after an installation has been attempted). They're also for off-road use only.
