GT200 Side Stand Installation Instructions
Warning: Use side stand with caution,
scooter is not as stable on the side stand as it is on the center
stand. Never sit on the scooter with the side stand down. Never
start the scooter when it is on the side stand. Only use the side
stand on flat and level surfaces. Scooter may fall over if side
stand is used on loose soil or hot asphalt. Always verify that
the side stand is fully retracted before riding the scooter.

Tools Required:
o Safety Glasses
o 17mm Wrench
o Spring Puller (Part # TOOLSPRING)
o Waterproof Wheel Bearing Grease.
Parts Included with Kit:
o Side Stand
o Rubber Bump Stop
o O-rings (2)
o Springs (2)
o Pivot/Mounting Bolt

1) Locate the side stand mounting point on the scooter. It is
on left side, under the floor board, parallel with the security
hoop. Remove the masking tape (if present) from the mounting point.

2) Prepare the side stand by installing the rubber bump. It may
need to be twisted in the hole for the bump to seat properly.

3) Lightly grease both o-rings.

4) Install o-rings over each side of the side stand mounting points.

5) Pack the side stand pivot/mounting bolt grooves with grease.

6) Slide the side stand over the mounting point on the frame.
The threaded end of the side stand mount will face to the left.

7) Install pivot/mounting bolt from the right side of the scooter.

8) Tighten the bolt with a 17mm wrench or socket.

9) Roll both o-rings into the groves on the round mounting point

10) Slide the smaller diameter spring inside the larger diameter
spring. Both hooks should face the same direction.

11) Hook the shorter side of the spring onto the spring mounting
point on the scooter frame.

12) Using the spring puller tool, hook the puller to the springs.
(Safety glasses recommended, springs can come off with great force
if they dislodge from the spring puller tool.)

13) Hold the side stand in the retracted (up) position, stretch
the spring with the puller and hook it over the spring mounting
post on the side stand. Carefully retract the spring puller hook
from the spring.
AND YOUR DONE!
Check operation of the side stand. The stand should not bind and
should retract freely when released.
Recommended Maintenance:
Every two years, or when the side stand does not retract freely.
Pull the side stand apart in the reverse order. Inspect both springs
for wear. Re-grease the pivot/mounting bolt and o-rings and re-assemble.
