Accessory DIY Power Plug Adapter Kit

Our DIY version of the Power Plug Kit for the do-it-yourself types that don't mind drilling into your existing black plastic left cover (above the glove box) on your GT, GTS, GTV, or Super, or put it anywhere you think it will fit..

Power GPS's, charge cell phones, tablets, and maybe even a laptop. Most anything up to 5amp that can use a 12 volt power supply with the standard cigarette lighter type adapter plug.

You will need a SPLITTER if you are planning on installing two electrical accessories such as our LED kit, power plug, alarm, horn cover LED, etc.

Very quick and easy install provided you can drill a 7/8" diameter hole. See instructions below:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING POWER PLUG IN EXISTING COVER:
1- REMOVE LEFT HAND SIDE COVER AKA "KNEE PAD"
2- DRILL A 7/8" DIAMETER HOLE IN THE CENTER OF THE LOWER PORTION OF THE COVER. **A "UNI-BIT©" BRAND STEPPED DRILL BIT WORKS BEST**
3- THREAD BOTH PIECES OF THE POWERPLUG ONTO THE COVER. REMEMBER TO INSTALL THE BLACK PLASTIC CAP.
4- INSTALL THE RED WIRE IN THE HARNESS YOU SELECT TO THE BRASS CONNECTOR AND THE BLACK WIRE TO THE SILVER CONNECTOR
5- REFER TO PROVIDED INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTING THE WIRES TO YOUR SCOOTER.
