Just plug and play with this ready to go power plug. Just one screw and plug it in and you'll be ready to charge your cell phone, PDA, Ipod, Game Boy, power a GPS or whatever you need to power with 12V (up to 5amp). Includes plastic knee pad, rubber cap to cover it when not in use and all you need to hook up the POWER...This fits 2006 and older GT-GTS-GT60 and some GTV. Does not fit on European ABS equipped models. Also some GTS's do NOT have the O.E.M. plug behind the knee pad,so these will not plug in on some GTS, please check your GTS before ordering to see if it has the plug (SEE PICTURE).
GTS Power Plug adapter Instruction
1) Find this O.E.M. connector behind the left side knee pad (if you
can't find this plug see step 3 thru 7).
2) Plug in the GTS power adapter and replace the knee
pad. 1-2 You're done (you only need the next steps 3 thu 7 if you
are missing the harness plug on your scooter, which can be missing
on some new GTS's).
3) We NOW include this extra plug if your
GTS is missing the O.E.M. power connector behind the Left Hand side knee
pad. See step 4 thu 7 to install it, if you have the O.E.M. plug, you will not need this plug.
4) Remove the Piaggio badge and then unscrew the philps head screw
behind the badge. Side up on the horn cover to remove it and unplug
the horn cover light from the light housing (on GTS-GTV models).
5) Find the nut welded to the frame (just below the relays) and
use the screw provided to attach the black ground wire.
6) Un-plug the "all yellow" wire from the horn (make
sure it is the "all yellow" wire and not the wire with
the red strip) and attached the yellow wire of our power plug
harness to the horn and your original yellow wire to our harness,
so that both yellow wires fit to the horn contact.
7) Poke the harness back thru to the knee pad and the power plug. Now
plug them together and replace the horn cover and knee pad. Test
out your NEW POWER! and your DONE....
